Every year, the Clarendon Fund awards approximately 140 full scholarships to academically outstanding graduate students from all over the world. Clarendon Scholarships are awarded at the University of Oxford on the basis of academic excellence and potential in all degree-bearing subjects at the graduate level.
The application deadline is in January 2023, depending on the course of study.

The Clarendon Scholarships cover tuition and college fees in full, as well as a generous grant for living expenses.
Clarendon Scholarships are available for the entire time that you are required to pay tuition fees to the University, which is usually the same as the length of your course.
Eligibility for 2023 Clarendon Fund Scholarships for International Students at University of Oxford – UK:
- You must be submitting an application to begin a new graduate course at Oxford. Students who are currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Oxford but plan to reapply for a DPhil are included (you would be eligible for funding for the DPhil).
- You must be a foreign student.
- You must be proficient in English.
